AAPS Receives $10,000 Kennedy Center and NSBA Award

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced the Ann Arbor Public Schools Board of Education will receive the 27th annual Kennedy Center and National School Boards Association (NSBA) Award. The award, which includes a $10,000 prize, recognizes outstanding support of the arts.

Statement on AAPS Weapon Free Zones

We invite you to take a few minutes to read the Ann Arbor Public Schools statement on weapons in our schools.

At the Ann Arbor Public Schools Board of Education Governance meeting on Monday, March 16, the Trustees who serve on the Governance committee confirmed the clear message stated by the Board of Education at last Wednesday’s meeting - they do not want guns on our school campuses.
