The PTO supports the staff and curriculum by funding our enrichment program.  This is the primary goal of the PTO.  The funds that we raise go to have Art Talks in the classroom, museum visits, musical performances, classroom workshops with scientists, engineers, artists, musicians and writers. Activities are integrated into the classroom curriculum and enhance our children's school experience.  Angell’s enrichment program is held up as an example to other schools and it is one of the shining parts of our children’s education.  We pay for these activities through the dues you pay to the PTO and through our fundraising.  We hope that all of you will become an active and giving part of the Angell community and the PTO.  We welcome everyone to participate and have lots of ways you can volunteer.

Along with Principal Gary Court, the President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer comprise the PTO Executive Board, the group that handles day-to-day PTO operations and makes all decisions not required to be made by the general membership under the Bylaws.

All Angell parents and staff are welcome at any meeting of the PTO, whether it’s one of the two or three annual general membership meetings or a monthly Executive Board meeting. Please feel free to attend, ask questions and voice your concerns. If there is a specific topic you would like the Executive Board to consider at a meeting, please email the President in advance.
