Puma Pride

pumapaw

We are proud of our school. We want it to be a place where students, staff and guests feel welcome, valued and cared for.

Puma Pride is the name we give to this continuing work.

Puma Pride activities include:

An opening week Puma Pride assembly with a guest artist.

Weekly meetings of all students and staff in small groups to learn more about working together as a community.

A common set of guidelines for behavior which focuses on self-responsibility.

Class meetings to discuss issues and solve problems.
Opportunities for student leadership.

Puma Pride Guidelines:

I am in control of my voice and body.
My choices let others know about me.

I take responsibility for my speech and actions.
My speech and actions affect others.

I concentrate to learn every day.
Learning makes my life better.

I follow directions from all adults.
I learn from the wisdom of others.

I cooperate and show respect in our school community.
I am a caring person.
