 Fourth grade is an exciting year.  Our BIG social studies unit is Michigan.  We learn the history, geography and  economy of Michigan.  One of the highlights of the unit is that we create an ABC BOOK that is a year long project.  These books have been beautiful keepsakes.

Our science units are Watery Earth, Matter, and Natures Recyclers.  Fourth graders become so savvy about the environment that they will be giving their parents advice about recycling and being careful consumers!

Ms. Haines and I enjoy sharing our students.  Ms. Haines gives the math instruction to all of the fourth grade while I teach science and social studies to everyone.
