           River Rat Hall of Fame

                     May 2007

The 2007 River Rat Hall of Fame was an exciting event that honored seven new inductees. It was a festive event that featured former Huron graduate, Lucy Ann Lance as MC and was held at the Michigan Union in Ann Arbor.

The evening started with a social hour where guests mingled and bid on the many silent auction items available.   The ceremony, which followed the catered dinner, ended with the induction of this year's nominees.   Check the Hall of Fame links below for more information on all the River Rat Hall of Fame inductees.


The 2007 River Rat Hall of Fame Inductees are:

John Bacon - Class of 1982 & Huron Hockey Coach

Rick Bednarz - Longtime Huron Mathematics Teacher

Jane Bennett - Former teacher, coach and Director of Athletics

Mark Foster - Class of 1974, All-State Track & XC plus former Men's XC coach

Patricia Menzies - Longtime building secretary

Tom Nowland - Class of 1981, River Rat Hockey player

Candyce Rozelle-Williams - Class of 1990, Athletics & Building Secretary
