Guidance Committee

The Guidance Committee - meets 3rd Monday of each month.
The Guidance Committee, which meets on the third Monday, is comprised of administrators, counselors, the nurse, the social worker, representation from the Cooperative Education staff and other support personnel.
The following purposes are served by the Guidance Committee:
1.	To establish a means of regular communication among the various providers of guidance services: administrators, counselors, nurse, social worker, occupations advisors.
2.	To review, as needed, guidance policies and procedures.
3.	To provide a forum for teachers or other staff members to bring issues, new programs, recommendations or problems to the attendtion of the guidance staff.
4.	To inform guidance staff of programs or services in the community to which members might refer students.
5.	To provide opportunities to address school issues and problems from a guidance perspective.
6.	To provicde a means by which recommendations to the principal on an individual cases may be made.
