Band Uniform & Instrument Return
May 20th students in Concert and Symphony Band are to return their formal band dresses and tuxedos during 5th and 6th hours.  We will have parents on hand to help with the collection.  If students are absent on May 20th for the Cedar Point trip, we expect them to return their uniform on Tuesday the 21st.

Seniors continue to come to band class until all music, uniforms and instruments are turned in.  This will start next Monday and will likely go until the end of the day Thursday.  The last date I expect them to  come to class is Thursday, May 23rd.

Some seniors have school instruments that they may be using for graduation.  Those students need to pay me a visit during their band hour the day after graduation to return that instrument (June 6th).

Picnic Pops Volunteer Information
We need volunteers to make this great event work.  Each Huron family is asked to donate three hours of time between parents and students.  The attachment will explain everything including the donation of baked goods counting for your hours.

Huron Band will perform live at PALIO Restaurant in Downtown Ann Arbor
Just a reminder that on May 23rd Main Street Ventures is opening up Palio del Sole as an all day fundraising dinning event for our France efforts.  Huron Band students will be performing from 5-9:00 p.m. on the upstairs patio.  The Huron Jazz Band will be performing from 7:10-9:00 p.m.

VERY IMPORTANT –  generally, Palio does NOT take reservations for Palio Del Sole,  BUT, here’s what they can do us: when you call to schedule a reservation, you will need to let them know it is for the Huron Band so they will know to seat you upstairs.  Seating is first come, first served.   I am doing my best to market this to you since Palio del Sole is very popular, and I would feel bad in the event you are not able to get in the night of this event.

Make your reservations soon!!!We have another great event scheduled to help raise funds for our France Trip.  Main Street Ventures will be donating a large portion from the proceeds of May 23rd's Palio patrons.  Please read on and plan on spending the evening at Palio.  You may also eat there earlier in the day too!
