About the HMA
During the 2006-2007 academic year the Huron Music Association provided money and /or
volunteers to support these Music Department efforts:
- Interlochen Choir and Band
Camp Scholarship assistance
- Fall
Bulb Sale
- Receptions
following the concerts
- Annual
Spring flower sale
- PTSO
Thrift Shop – a fun way to support the music program
- Annual
Awards Banquet – dinner, entertainment and recognition for every choir,
band and orchestra student
- Picnic
Pops – multi-school celebration of bands in a carnival-type atmosphere
- Support
and scholarship for the Band trip to Florida

As you can see from this list, there are
many ways to support music at Huron. The
Music Association strives to support our students, foster excellence in the
Music Department, and to share this with the Ann Arbor community and beyond.
