Art Teacher: Peggy leonard: Introduction

Art Education

I am delighted to be the art education teacher at Lakewood. My goal with each child is to challenge their imagination, encourage personal expression and develop their art skills. A variety of media will be used including drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, sculpture and clay. Art history teaches the importance of other artists and cultures and will be incorporated into art lessons. School displays and other art exhibits will provide opportunities to showcase the talents of our students. I look forward to a creative year with your child.
