Challenge your minds! Be prepared for the world of technology!

LEGO Mindstorms - Battle Bots
You can put together a robot and make it follow a line, tell the difference between red and blue and avoid obstacles, but can you make it survive the attack of another robot? Students will learn to use math, science, engineering and technology in a competitive, challenging, team building setting through the creation of battling robots. Let the games begin!

WeDo Robotics

Young students develop their higher level thinking skills playing with an easy-to-use LEGO set featuring working motors and sensors. Students explore a series of cross-curricular, theme-based activities that helps them acquire skills in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, as well as language and literacy.

Robotics and Game Animation with Scratch

Give your child a boost in learning key 21st century learning skills: creative thinking, teamwork, communication, and analysis. Using Scratch, a computer learning tool and WeDo LEGO Robotics, a visual programming language, your child creates games, animations, stories, and art. Students draw pictures, add sound and movement, and share their projects with the class.  These activities help students understand mathematical and computational concepts and the process of design.

Robotics with LEGO Mindstorms

Using the LEGO Mindstorms NXT robot kits, students will become familiar with the fundamentals of computer programming. Then with drag and drop computer language, students program their robots to follow multi-step programs. Integrating “vision”, touch and sound sensors along with individualized challenges teaches students to think outside the box, challenges their minds and prepares them for the world of technology.

LEGO Physics
Using Science and Technology LEGO Engineering kits, students work in pairs; each student assembling part of the model.  Students then joined their parts to complete the building project.  LEGO = fun = learning!
