During their middle school experience math students will be using the Texas Instrument Graphing Calculator.  Many people see the Graphing Calculator as a "crutch" when it is actually a tool that is used to develop and learn concepts.  Scarletts' Mathematics Department does not assume that students have these at home.  In fact, when homework its assigned, it is assumed that students do not have them to use at home so there is no need to run out and buy one!
