Uploading a Podcast with podbean.com

Step 1) Open your browser (Safari or Firefox) and go to http://www.podbean.com

Step 2) Click on “Sign up” in the upper right hand corner

Step 3) Click on “Basic Free” to create your free account

Step 4) Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Sign up now” under Free Fill out the appropriate information and write down your username and password

Suggestion: use the information from your xSan account to ensure that you do not forget your information – WRITE IT DOWN!

Step 5) When information is filled out, click on “Sign Up”

Step 6) Retrieve your Login Name and Password from the email sent to you from Podbean

Step 7) Go to podbean.com and enter your username and password from the email and click “Login”

Step 8) Click on “Skip for Now” if asked to upload a photo

Step 9) You may want to change your password to your xsan password so it will be easy to remember.

Step 10) Click on “Publish a new Show”

Step 11) Give your show a professional and accurate title

Step 12) Type a brief description of your podcast

Step 13) Write your first name and “podcast” in the Tag line

Step 14) To upload your podcast scroll down and click “Browse”

Step 15) Locate your mp3 file on the desktop or in the finder

Step 16) Scroll down and click “Publish!”

Step 17) Once uploaded, click “View site”

Step 19) To link your podcast to your Google Site copy the web address located in the top address bar

Step 20) Paste this address as a link on your Google Site
